History

In 1995, the “WHITE AND BLACK” traditional pilgrimage group of Warsaw Academic Metropolitan Pilgrimage was established in the academic environment of the Catholic Youth Association of the Archdiocese of Warsaw thanks to the endeavour and work of several people who have undertaken the organisational efforts. Since 1997, the group has made pilgrimages to Jasna Gora under the colours of “WHITE AND BLACK AND RED” as part of the University “17” Group of Warsaw Pilgrimage. For many years, the members of the association of lay Catholics, gathered around the League of St. Michael the Archangel, were responsible for the organization of the group. In recent years, the group has been organized by the Warsaw Community of the Faithful to Latin Tradition, in cooperation with the Institute of the Good Shepherd.
